Almost any number or letter can be made with a series of applications. This unit is being used extensively for custom branding or numbering. It has a 2" half circle and a 2 1/2" bar, plus an added 4" bar. Some practice is necessary to use this iron.

HUSKY Electric Dehorner

 

The Husky Dehorner is the best known and most accepted method of dehorning. With the application of intense heat to the peripheral blood vessels at the base of the horn, the blood supply to the horn is sealed off. The horn then dies and falls off. The Husky Dehorner can be used on calves 4 days to 12 weeks old.
